Womes's Rights Regarding Rape
All women should have the right not to be raped. I strongly feel that the act of rape is violating the human rights of women for three reasons. First, besides being a traumatic experience, rape can result in an unwanted pregnancy. Second, many rape victims also have to deal with exposure to a variety of sexually transmitted diseases. Third, I feel that all women should have the same right as men to protect their bodies from the act of rape. Although the act of rape can produce several outcomes, I think that one of the most important is unwanted pregnancies. Not only are the women exposed to the traumatic experience of being raped but some also
exposed to sexually transmitted diseases without being violation of a woman’s human rights, it is an extremely didn’t want to do. In the book Human Rights, Hillary Rodham rights should apply to all humans not just a select few.
