When there is a person or a group of people that have power over many other people, the person or group in power will always try to get more from the people. They try many different ways. Some ways are taxing them to get money. Every time someone buys something they add a small percentage to it. They use this money to pay for the federal budget.

I think that it will never be the way it was in this book. People are too smart to believe what the government says. If the government told everybody that John Walker Lindh that he didn’t exist, they would definitely not believe that because they know better. they’ve seen him on T.V, heard and read about him. The society that existed in this book will never become a reality.
