Basketball to most people is a just match of athleticism between five men inone color uniform trying to put a ball in a hoop more times than the other five men in different color uniforms. In my experiences and following of the game I have come to learn and love the excitement and passion behind this astonishing display of athleticism and skill. Being athletic is one element in the game, but it takes many together such as strategy, accuracy, balance, quick thinking, and desire to be great. Athleticism is a key factor in keeping up with the fast paced tempo of the game. Because the game is so fast paced and physically demanding, staying in peak physical condition and endurance is necessary. If a player would miss several days of training he would feel out of shape and sluggish upon my return. Having one player off rhythm can cause the whole team to be out of sync. Aerobic and weight training are necessary to keep themselves
Though each player has their own strategy for their success, it must not contribution they put forth for the greater good of the team. There many skills be put before the team strategy.
