Muslims

In light of the recent attacks on America, which occurred on September 11th a day that we will never forger no matter what religion decided to do my presentation on the religion practiced by all Muslims Islam. I was never interested in learning anything about this religion, but I wanted to know the background and beliefs that would make someone Love it so much that they would kill others. The religion of Islam is the acceptance of and obedience to the teachings of God, which He revealed to His last prophet, Muhammad. Muslims follow the Quran which is the last revealed word of God, is the primary source of every Muslim's faith and practice It deals with all the subjects which concern wisdom, doctrine, worship, transactions, law, etc., but its basic theme is the relationship between God and His creatures. At the same time, it provides guidelines and detailed teachings for a just society, proper human conduct, and an equitable economic system. Note that the Quran was revealed to Muhammad in Arabic only. So, any Quranic translation, either in English or any other language, is neither a Quran, nor a version of the Quran, but rather it is only a translation of the meaning of the Quran. The Quran exists only in the Arabic in which it was revealed.
Muslims believe in one, unique, incomparable God, Who has no son or partner, and that none has the right to be worshipped but Him alone. He is the true God, and every other deity is false. He has the most magnificent names and sublime perfect attributes. No one shares His divinity, or His attributes. The Arabic word Allah means God (the one and only true God who created the whole universe). This word Allah is a name for God, which is used by Arabic speakers, both Arab Muslims and Arab Christians. This word cannot be used to designate anything other than the one true God. The Arabic word Allah occurs in the Quran more than 2150 times. Muslims believe in the existence of the angels and that they are honored creatures.
