China has way too much of a military budget. Japan's economy is based mainly on the fact the industry and the government work in synch with one another. They have a strong work ethic, a mastery of high technology, and they have a comparatively small defense stipend.3 They have succeeded in their goal to be one of the most technologically powerful countries in the world. Another good thing that happens in Japan is the supplier, the manufacturers, and the distributors all work together to ensure success as a whole. The government aids the industries so it is very rare for a business to go bankrupt. The government also decides what is to be manufactured so that no one company misses out on an opportunity to grow with the economy. If China could go more towards consumer goods they might be able to take on this type of economy. First though they need to leave communism and adapt a capitalistic society.

China has never developed a capitalistic society because the people in power, the military, are in it all for a big personal gain. Corruption is overwhelming right now in China. The society has the ability to rise up and over throw the communist but they have okay so they are afraid to take a chance. There needs to be a revolution in China. The people should rise up and in the masses should demand social reform. The people do not think about revolution, one because they are afraid, and two because they don’t
