Once on the website, your first step will be to logon, which will require you to have a logon id and a password. This is a fairly easy process. At the top of the website you will find a toolbar. ll come to logon when listing your items for sale. On the left-hand side of this webpage you will see “New to Ebay”. Right below this is a box that says register, click on this box. The website will guide you through the registration process. It is fairly simple and self-explanatory. I myself, when I tried this had no problems what so ever. I found it to be effortless. Now you will need to set up a seller’s account. For this you will need a major credit card or a checking account. The website will guide you further asking for personal information for billing purposes. I used my checking account, which worked quite nicely. At the end of the month I received a billing statement from Ebay and then one week later the funds were extracted from my checking account. Before you jump into this further, I strongly recommend spending a few hours browsing through the items for sale. Find out what sells and what doesn’t. I myself spend two days looking at item after item of things for sale. This worked well for me, as I chose an item that was in demand and something that would turn a profit. Remember you don’t want to spend your time and money putting items up for sale that no one is interested in. make sure your items are thing you have easy access to, or if the item is something that you will be making, all materials required must be easily obtainable. As an Ebay user, you’re ultimately responsible for making sure that your item is allowed. There is a list on the website that you make look at with a list of these items. For a brief look there are three categories.

1) Prohibited: means that these items are not to be listed on Ebay. 2) Questionable: means that your item may be listed under certain conditions. 3) Potentially infringing:means that the item may be in violation of certain copyright laws, trademarks, or other rights.
