There is a stereotype in this country that effects young drivers. This stereotype is factored in especially during the pricing of car insurance. Every video and movie you see with young people driving a car they are required to listen to the over bearing parent telling them oh about 1000 rules on the correct operation of the precious 1982 station wagon, are we really this irresponsible and dumb. This is funny to no one under the age of 25. Isn’t that a coincidence that insurance rates start to plummet after the age of 25? When the keys to that great car are finally placed in the palm of the teenagers hand the parents face winces and you can see the sweat beading from their forehead as they entrust the family car to the “immature” child. My question is why? Maybe the parents should not be overly concerned with their children
abusing the driving privileges so graciously bestowed upon them, but maybe their parents.
