Education is very important. It is the key to success in society. Schools can be categorized into two main types- public and private. There are both advantages and disadvantages on both types. However, public schools are more efficient and helpful to the students because they are free and provide an environment that has both diversity and unity within the community. One of the main advantages of going to a public school is that there is no tuition which means that it is free to go to school. The money required to run a school and teach its students is provided by the government, which is withdrawn from tax. Not paying $ 30,000 a year would me different things to the students, the parents, and the school itself. A student attending a public school, who does not pay anything to go to school will feel less pressure to do well and get the money¡¯s worth like the students from the private boarding schools. But, more money does not always mean the better. Providing a lot of aids physically would not always help the students. For example, giving good computers and high speed Internet to every student may be used for bad purposes. The students may play games when they are supposed to be studying and use the Internet to plagiarize. Also, the teachers do not have to be purchased.
