Australia and china both have very independent political and legal systems. Both countries political and legal systems are heavily influenced through their history and development in society to form a national identity. Australia’s political and legal system was, and still is linked to the British system through adopting the west minister system. China’s political and legal system is now socialist although it was a dynastic dictatorship before the people of china’s republic was formed in 1949. After the Cultural Revolution the national peoples congress developed a new state constitution.
Australia and china both have constitutions that state key principles that underlie the political systems.
