Facets of Art

Art reflects the individual artist’s personality and purpose. Some artists will use it to portray their ideals, while others use it to achieve worldly success. Art does not have one true definition, but rather is defined by the artist and its audience. Art can not be limited to a textbook definition. Its meaning differs based on various perspectives. However, there are many factors that contribute to its meaning. Expression, entertainment, and education are three facets that give art its meaning.
