Understanding the subject of an assignment, and a good process through which it is accomplished, is a crucial step to writing a good paper. Once a person is able to get a grasp of the issue at hand, collecting the pieces of information to resolve the issue and the tools with which one collects the information should be easy. A computer, for example is an indispensable means to obtaining a broad range of information on the internet. Hence, one needs to prepare adequately in order to complete the process successfully.

An assignment is comparable to answering a question posed. It is like digging for clues to a puzzle and in the end putting all the pieces together into a comprehensible whole, which can be understood by anyone who reads it. How do I go about this process?

First is my investigational process. To write about any issue, I have to know something about it. Reading thoroughly on the subject is vital to me. Thus reading one or two books on the subject help to supplement the information I obtained from the internet. Information I obtained from a newspaper or two or any oth

My introduction presents the main topic. In my writing process, this is the first or the main idea under discussion. I then proceed with the body where I discuss my topic thoroughly, introducing examples to support it. Finally I end my discussion with the conclusion, where I summarized all the main points of my discussion.

One important thing is that I always run a spell checker or a grammar checker. These aids cannot catch every error, but they catch some of the errors that I have missed.

Once I have checked my work and perfected my formatting, my writing process is done and since a good process always outputs a good finished product, I always end up writing a good paper.

Mostly I check the instructions for the assignment. When I prepare my final draft, I make sure I follow all of the instructions I have been given. For example, I make sure my margins are correct. Also I make sure that I have titled it as directed. I then check for other information (name, date, etc.) I must include. One thing I always do is that, I double-space my lines. Just to give my instructor enough room for comments.
