Hypnosis is often considered a false treatment that does not work. Scientists have very different opinions on hypnosis. Many experiments have been done but there is not usually a consistent result. The showroom setting is usually in a bar or club. The subjects for hypnosis in the showroom setting are usually people who are intoxicated and with a group of friends. Hypnosis when in a clinic in are there for solving their problems. These people think that hypnotherapy works for relieving pain or overcoming addiction or fear. The subjects of hypnosis in the police station are victims or witnesses of a crime. The hypnosis is supposed to help the subject remember the smaller details of the crime to help the police with their investigations.
