The Real Deal.
Reality shows are very popular during this decade. People on a boat to make their marriages work out and facing up to fears are just two examples of these reality shows. The very first ones that started this idea were the real world and road rules. The real world is a show which differs from road rules because it deals with interaction among roommates and road rules deals with adventure. The differences are housing, occupations, and types of people. .
First, the places where both of these shows take place are important factors because they must see each other almost everyday. The real world is a show in which seven people live together in a house. They must work together to guarantee their stay at this house. This head-to-head interaction between roommates fuels the intensity for people to begin fights and arguments. When a group of diverse people are put to live together disagreements and different views take place. Every person must obey the rules that they have thought forth for each other, so that they may live happily and be friendly among one another. While, road rules is the other show in which six people live in a Winnebago and must complete missions to guarantee their stay. Rarely do these members sleep in the mobile home, but they usually stay in it for long periods of times while traveling between missions. Although, they fight and argue sometimes, they usually get along again during the missions. Unlike real world, road rules has constant instances of unity between members. This helps the roommates get along better and fewer fights are taken place. .
Second, the occupations of these individuals cause more interactions and thus, confrontations are brought up during work or missions.
