A Case Study of Preferential Bestiality (Zoophilia)

A Case Study of Preferential Bestiality (Zoophilia)

A case study of preferential bestiality was performed due to the fact that humans show a wide array of sexual preferences and behaviors-some normal some abnormal. The question to ask should be what is normal? In this study, we are told that a large number of paraphilias have been described and catalogued, ranging from fetishism to pedophilia. The study is performed to show how rare bestiality may be, but yet a possible preference in this unique case is alas possible. The study is performed on three set criteria’s, and hence a search for all three shows the just rarity of this sexual preference in our animal kingdom. The first of the set criterion is considered when the individual reports intense and recurrent sexual fantasies and urges about having sexual interactions with nonhuman animals, or reports repeated sexual interactions with nonhuman animals accompanied by strong sexual arousal. The second criteria follows when the individual chooses sexual interactions with nonhuman animals even when willing human partners are available. Having intercourse with animals doesn’t result in abandonment, emotional rejection or emotional harassment.

Assessment at the Sexual Behavior Clinic consisted of an intake interview, coding of the Hare Psychopathy Checklist, the administration of a battery of paper- and pencil tests, and the assessment of sexual preferences, using penile plethysmography. The following tests include 1: slides depicting males and females varying in age from childr
