I agree with the statement because the Metis, the Aboriginal and the Political Parties did not win anything in the rebellion. Even though a peaceful attempt was attempted with the signing of a petition, in the end there was blood shed. The Metis did not win because many Metis fled to the wilderness in northern Alberta or other took scrip worth $169-$240, when they had spent there money the had no money or land left.
