How Technology Has Affected Us Over The Past 50 Years
Think of how much technology has advanced over the past 50 years. Think of how many lives technology has saved, all the pollution it has cut down, and how much more efficient it has made our lives. For example, when my mother was a teenager cell phones were never even thought of, satellite T.V. consisted of a 10 foot wide satellite dish in your backyard, no CDs or cassettes, only records and eight-track tapes, and no personal computers. However, today technology has helped improve these things to the extent of: palm-sized cell phones, tiny 2 foot wide satellite T.V. dishes, only CDs and some mini CDs, and almost everybody owning a personal computer with internet access.

Cell phones are still a huge part of our lives today. In fact, many people would say they couldn’t live without cell phones today. Also, besides being extremely advanced already, they are still continuing to develop newer, and better cell phones.
