Values

            To begin with my significant values would be unfair on my part not to thank my parents for bestowing upon me values which have brought me where I am up to today.
             My biggest value is religion; I cannot consider it to be an influence because I know God is always with me. Whatever decision I make is a reflection on my character and my upbringing. Yes I do make mistakes and I do tell lies but I can distinguish between right and wrong especially if it means I will be looked down upon.
             Unfortunately for me, where I live (Middle East) Christianity is not really appreciated in the work place. If there are religious festivals we are not allowed to celebrate them which I think further makes me work in order to be successful so that I can have my own business where I would be able to take a day of to spend Christmas with the family but life still goes on.
             Another value is that I am determined. I work very hard or rather I put in extra effort to make sure that I do go the extra mile whether its to save money for the company or make sure the product is successful. My superiors did note that on my final recommendation letter noting that I was a hard working individual who strived for the best. I realize a lot of people could just sit back and relax and out of pure luck or misfortune make or break them. Unlike others, I believe that if I did not work for it, neither should it be given to me or any sort of credit. Honestly, I have never really worked so hard in getting recognition never thought I would have to prove anything to myself or anyone else but I realize now that I cannot live on family wealth and live with the fact that I never earned it.
             I am very committed person which help me knowing that when I start something I don't stop until I finish. It did affect me in the work place since I could not concentrate on many things at once. I really don't consider it to be a vice but then again I delay things.
