This basically means take responsibility for you life. If you do something wrong confess, don’t try and avoid it. This can lead to things like lying. A good example is if something breaks because a person put it on an unsteady table, and then blamed it on the table when he or she could have chosen a better spot for the object. I believe that I have this habit. I have always confessed to the things I do wrong. I try not to lie either. If I get bad grades in a class I know it’s my fault no matter how hard the teacher is. I think this is from my parents always telling that they don’t care how bad the rest of the class is doing.
Goals are the best way to describe this habit. If a person wants to get something done they must first figure out how they want to go into doing this action and what the best ways are before it is done. I am very good with this habit. I always try and set goals for my self to meet. I know what I want to do or improve and then I set a way to get that done. Goals are the main thing that motivates me to do better. When I realize I did something wrong I try to fix that next time.
f the Habit #2. After a person finds out there goal and the planning is done. They must figure out which way/order to do it in that would be best. You can’t put butter on the bread then toast it! This is also something I am pretty good at. I know what need to be done and the order is easiest and fastest to complete it. The problem for me is mostly accomplishing the tasks I have set for me. I try and make it as easy as possible so I will do it, but usually it doesn’t get done until the last minute.
This is basically a habit for you. This habit give a person time to reflect on the thing they did, and just chill out. They look at the things they can improve on for the previous six habits and find ways to make them better at it. Basically sharpening your saw takes just a little time but it makes the cutting go by much faster. I know I posses this habit. I it evident when ever I am day dreaming. I usually think about thing I did wrong and how I could have changed them. Or thing I did right and why I did them right. This makes me a better person, because I am filtering out the bad and trying to keep the good.
