My friends and I were migrating through New York City, hoping to find some form of civilization. We constantly stumbled in the rubble as we passed through the wreckage and destruction of the once magnificent city. Nothing was left. From Maine down to Maryland everything was ruined. Days before the attack, there was talk of the entire United States being destroyed, I will never know. I kicked through the debris and came across an old history book. Slightly frowning, I flipped through the grimy pages and saw a map of the United States. “Never again”, I thought. If only things were handled different. Everyday we make important decisions.
