Bacon¡¦s Rebellion was the most powerful revolution against established government before the American Revolution. The rebellion started with fighting between Indians and settlers in the west. Many events contributed to the rising of the rebellion. For years, the backcountry gentry and the leaders of the tidewater region had been disagreeing on many issues.
