War of Two Worlds
History has proven that precise planning, effective weaponry, teamwork, readiness, and determination win wars. Inside war is a series of battles - different battles must be conquered to win the “war”. All of these ingredients added together forms the recipe to concoct and consume war in two different worlds. It was proven in both world wars, Korea, and in the Persian Gulf. Specifically, these wars were won for the cause of peace, the acquisition of land, and to prevent the further spread of anarchy, communism, genocide, and oppression throughout the world. Which weapons from the educational arsenal will be most effective? CLEP? DANTES? Internet courses? Grants or low interest loans? “What will get me to diploma the quickest?” we ask ourselves. Does readiness and teamwork fit into this plan? “Absolutely!” It’s called studying and tutoring. Can we expect deviations to our college plan? “Absolutely!” The possibility exists that our major will change, which requires a change in the courses needed for that degree. The possibility exists that we may have to retake courses because we dropped a class (sometimes the acceptable loss), receiving an incomplete, or in the worst case, failing. Yet we must go back to the notion, “We have trained for this and we have trained to adapt and overcome any deviations inside that plan”. Flexibility is the key here as well. Having been traveled by generations of students, the road to winning this war of a college education is long and grueli
