To Kill A Mockingbird

The novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, is an all time classic written

about life in a small southern town and it’s people. The setting off the book takes place in

Maycomb County, Alabama. Scout (the narrator) describes Maycomb County to be “a

tired old town.” (pg.5 ) The people from Maycomb, love to gossip and dislike the colored
