Human evolution has seen the acceptance of natural rights and human rights that every individual is born with. These rights cannot be removed, distorted, suspended or denied. All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. If communities (in Australia) are to redraw the balance between individual rights and rights of the community some individuals will lose their liberty, liberty which is guaranteed by the Rule of Law, liberty which every individual has the right to. A government in violation of the Rule of Law cannot function.

If all mankind minus one were of one opinion, and only one person were of a contrary opinion, mankind would be no more justified in silencing that person, than he, if he had the power, would be justified in silencing mankind. To silence an opinion is to rob the human race.

Existing Commonwealth and State and Territory Legislation covers offences of murder, conspiracy, aiding and abetting, kidnapping, conduct likely to involve serious risk to life, personal injury, damage to property, all involving heavy penalties, as well as dealing with proscribed organization, intelligence, investigation and enforcement.

From the last century humanity has learnt that humans deserve respect and liberty. Slavery was a major issue in the U.S.A. until 1 February 1865, when it was abolished because of human rights. Millions of Jews were murdered, during World War 2, because of discrimination. Human rights put an end to discrimination, slavery and many other downsides of the human race. Human rights cannot be suppressed to save large number of lives, as there are always alternatives. If one and all were treated equally there would be no reason for acts of violence and aggression. Protecting the Rule of Law; and in doing so human rights; is the best protection against political violence.
