America is known as the land of opportunity for those of us coming here from foreign lands and nations to even those who are in need of a second chance. Over and over again throughout history people have come here to succeed, and to follow our heroes before them that have laid out the path for success. The history of our great nation opened up countless rights that even today are necessities to the freedom so many of us take for granted. I believe that the people of our country are the ones who make it the great land it is. The only real problem left to solve is that since my country gave to the people, including myself, the chance to pursue happiness how can the favor be returned?

The government also uses the welfare system for those who are low in income, single mothers, and others such as immigrants that just moved to the country and are looking for jobs. This too gives those who are less fortunate than others the chance to make something of themselves they only dreamed of.
Alas, after everything that America gives to me and all of its citizens, there seems to be no one clearly defined way to return such an enormous favor. No one person can fully repay its country, but by taking every chance you get to help improve the nation is the closest you can get. When the land that we love throws us a bone, take it. When it gives us a great job opportunity, a chance to be successful, a chance to live the American life we all dream of, take it.
