The Culture I'm Within

Culture comes from what is popular in society, which stems from underlying elements. Culture is what you see in the papers and magazines, music and movies. It is actually almost always in reflection with the majority. If a book is popular, it exposes something that the majority of people have interest in. This is an indication of a common interest among a majority. In turn, this common interest represents something of culture. In a sense, culture is ruled by the majority. Everybody in this world is different, but there are many things that make people find similarities in themselves. The way someone is raised, for example, is a huge part of who they are. If many people are raised similarly, they will have commonalities that will allow them to be together. Being raised a certain way is an aspect of culture, and it is the culture of the parents that reflects on the raising of the kids. It was a trick to get the man to really live his life and appreciate it. He explains that “tomorrow will be the best day he has ever lived” because he will be alive after being so close to death. Tyler made the man go for his dream in life, instead of hating it.

hat they are lost. They feel that the world has something against them. From this feeling they create ideas and philosophies of the way they think life should be. In the real world, this movie was quite popular, showing that there was a large community of people who liked its ideas and what it showed. This community was not only people from the X generation. It was people from my generation, an entirely different culture. Movies are a big part of my generation, every weekend millions of kids my age (around 18) go out to the movies. Movies and music are the entertainment of choice for my generation. My generation’s choosing of these mediums for entertainment is partly due to our upbringing. Many people of my generation as kids would be taken to see the movies by our parents. We would mainly go to movies targeted to our age group, such as Disney films. As we got old
