Abortion
In 1973, the supreme court of the United States ruled that women have the right to an abortion. A abortion is the termination of the fetus before viability. In America today abortion is a widely debated issue. Women have the right to decide what they want to do with their bodies. Pro – choice supporters are individuals who favor a woman’s reproductive rights, including the right to an abortion. Illegal abortions will not stop them from occurring the U.S. Legal abortions protect the woman’s health and her life. Therefore, abortions should be legal in the United States. Abortions will occur in America if made illegal. Many women will die in the result of back alley abortions. Back alley abortions are doctors, nurses or just regular people on the streets who will perform an abortion at a certain time where there is no medical help. A woman who feels that under all circumstances she does not want a child will take action and will not deliver. A woman, if serious, will have an abortion without medical care. Abortions being outlawed will cause more deaths upon women because they did not seek medical care. A woman who is terminally ill should be able to get an abortion. If that woman is not appointed
an abortion the rights of that woman isn’t acknowledge. A woman who has a disease that has a 5050 chance of getting it should be able to have an abortion. Abortions should not be outlawed for it should be the mothers right. “ Abortion is a moral right which should be left to the sole discretion of the woman involved; morally, nothing other than her wish in the matter is to be considered. Who can conceivably have the right to dictate to her what disposition she is to make o f the function of her body?” (Ayn Rand) Abortions is an issue that will not die. Pro-choice is just an argument to support women’s right to a choice. If any action should be taken then the law that abortions are legal in the United States should stay the same. The should not change for the only person that it is affecting is the woman. That is why the abortion law should stay a woman’s choice. Babies are being aborted, but there are other issues more important that needs to be addressed. Abortion should not be a big debate when it is a woman’s right to reproduce. Everyone in the United States will not be there to care for that child. The more advance technology increases, the more methods will be used in the subject of abortion. Abortion is the death of a human, but not a person. Life is a struggle for pregnant woman, because of what they face during the gestation. They have a choice like every other person in the United states to do as they wish. If a woman wants a abortion, then let that woman have it. It is not the doctor
