UConn Vs. Brown University

Both the University of Connecticut and Brown University are highly selective schools in terms of admittance. There are very respectable courses for both undergraduate and graduate students. The University of Connecticut was founded on April 21, 1881. Since it was founded, it has been a four-year coeducational college in New England. Also known as UConn, it is the only public university in New England with a School of Medicine, School of Dental Medicine and School of Law. An important alumnus that graduated from UConn is Tansu Chiller, former Prime Minister of Turkey.

The main campus of UConn is located in Storrs Connecticut, about 3 ½ hours away from the town of Cambridge. There are eight campuses and seventeen schools and colleges making up University of Connecticut. These campuses and schools are located all throughout the state of Connecticut.
