James Patterson's 2nd Chance

The book 2nd chance is about a group of four female best friends that all work in somewhat connected fields of work, Lindsay the head of homicide, Jill the assistant D.A., Claire the chief medical examiner, and Cindy who is a reporter. These four girls are in search of a serial killer who’s going around murdering people, Lindsay being the head of homicide goes after the killer and with the help of her friends they begin to piece the puzzle together the murders. Through the story the four girls also help each other out with personal problems such as Lindsay’s dad coming back into her life, who I thought through out most of the book was the real murder.
