Throughout Australia there are power stations that provide the electricity for S.A. and they do this by using fossil fuels like coal or oil and they burn these fuels to create heat to boil water that evaporates into steam. The steam is then used to push a huge wheel that is in a turbine and that creates the electricity.
Some places in South Australia that generate electricity are Torrens Island, pelican point, Port Augusta and the Osborne power station.
The fossil fuels create very good amounts of electricity but it is not a renewable resource so it will eventually run out but fossil fuels are also very dangerous because they create harmful gases when heated and these gases are harmful to both the environment and us.
There are many problems with nuclear fuel but there are also many benefits the downfalls to nuclear fuels are that it is radioactive and that makes it dangerous to the environment and us even from the slightest contact with the materials.
