All praises are due to Allah (SWT), the Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon Muhammad (pbuh), His servant and Messenger. Like those who came before us, we praise Him, seek His Help, and ask for His Forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah (SWT) from the evil in our souls and from our sinful deeds.
It is the goal of each and every Muslim to earn a place amongst the fortunate ones; the dwellers of Paradise. For this purpose we all strive, some harder than others, and today, Muslims around the world anxiously await the month of Ramadhan. It is this prized month in which the entire Quran was revealed to the Angel, Jibrael (Gabriel) and was then revealed successively to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) over a period of twenty-three years. But in order to reap the maximum benefit of this Ramadhan, I believe some pointers are required.
For starters, we have to enter this month in purity and humility.
