Even though Judas had sinned in a way that might have been more obvious, the disciples should not have judged him. The disciples were not thinking of all things they did that were against what Jesus wanted. Whether it was physically, or mentally, because in a way all the disciples went against what Jesus sought. Peter was true about the point that he made that the disciples were blinded of their own ways and with the intention that they should look at their own eyes before judging anyone else.
The disciples sinned or disobeyed Jesus on many occasions. Like when the disciples, John, James and Peter, fell a sleep while Jesus went to pray, when he told them many times not to; thus disobeying Jesus. Another time is when the disciple Peter
Peter was right that the disciples should not have been so happy over Judas’s death. The disciples were so worried about what Judas did they were blinded of their own disobedience toward Jesus. They should have instead hoped that Judas would have humbly come back and confessed that he was wrong in what he did.
They were wrong to judge Judas when they themselves sinned. Peter may have been thinking of the lesson that Jesus taught that before you cast the first stone look to yourself to see your own sin and leave judgment to the Lord. According to the movie, Peter was very upset that the other disciples were joyful of Judas’s death. Instead of being mournful or at least concerned about what happened.
