Hoffa the Heroic Leader

The movie “Hoffa” told the story of Jimmy R. Hoffa. He is one of the greatest labor leaders in American history. In his lifetime, he accomplished great feats, and overcame many hard-ships. The movie Hoffa depicted Jimmy Hoffa as a man working for the Teamsters. He was an arduous worker and devoted himself for the better of the workers, the truck drivers, whom where being treated terribly and paid scarcely. The Teamsters was a union for these truck drivers, helping them to get better rights and more pay.

Jimmy Hoffa was illustrated as a heroic leader in Hoffa. He determinedly led millions of truck drivers to better rights, no matter what Jimmy Hoffa had to do. Nevertheless, his fight was not solely for the truckers, or even teamsters, but indeed for himself to, as he told Bobby, a trucker whom he befriended, that he will become president of the teamsters, which obviously he did.

His journey to presidency may seem short and simple, but in actuality, his rise to the top included many obstacles and hard-ships to overcome. All the while, as he conquered the Teamsters, slowly fighting to the top, he remained a Heroic leader, fighting for all his followers laboriously and continuously. In this paper,

When in jail, the vice-president of the Teamsters under Hoffa became President. Even though Fitzsimmons was hesitant to take this position, Hoffa convinced him, and Fitzsimmons took over for the time being. While in jail, Fitzsimmons took it upon himself to bring Hoffa to even more ruin.

Hoffa was a heroic leader. He proudly led all the truckers in the Teamsters union. The truckers were proud and willing supporters of him, no matter what adversity he may have experienced with the Government and other places. He did anything for his people, portraying qualities of a Heroic Leader. As a heroic leader, Hoffa triumphed over many of the hurdles in his journey to the top. Hoffa did not forever remain at the top, the adversity eventually catching up with him and bring him to demise. However, although he may have failed in one major obstacle, life, he still led his life as a Heroic leader to the truckers, and managed to accomplish greater feats then most “heroic leaders” that managed to fight off the adversity.

His ever-going convictions were innumerable negative obstacles, which Hoffa seemed to be conquering, until the day where the adversity of the government finally brought him down from the top. Although, his heroic leadership gained him enough supporters to stay on top for a while, overall the adversity around him still succeeded in bringing Hoffa to demise.
