When the shuttle was released, it took Galileo six years to reach Jupiter. Galileo arrived at Jupiter 35 times in its 14-year mission. It passed by Earth 2 times and witnesses the comet Shoemaker-Levy crash into Jupiter. The article goes into detail on how Galileo first launch, but does not give enough facts about Galileo. The article was very helpful for me about how and why Galileo went into orbit. I had no idea it took that long to reach Jupiter.

The article was extremely helpful in answering my questions about Galileo spacecraft. It provides me information on planets and asteroids it encounters before it reached Jupiter. I found a lot of interesting things about Galileo from this article that I didn’t know.
