Avonworth students are typical white urban Americans. While political and religious affiliations may be varied throughout the student body, one fact remains the same about all of them; they are middle class. And like most middle class teenagers, Avonworth students can often be found in the many movie theaters and video stores around their homes. Among the students polled, several were well aware of which studios produced their favorite movies. 24% chose Warner Brothers

Due to the potpourri-like atmosphere of the movie business, this poll may have been better suited for a more film-educated crowd. Had there been enough time and enough money, a trip to New York City may have had been in order so that this topic could have been properly polled. Larger and less vast in similarities, the city would have allowed for a group of film students from NYU or Columbia to be polled, along with a group of homeless people residing in the subway. Two incredibly diverse groups would most likely have produced two incredibly diverse opinions. Unfortunately, weeklong math projects do not permit time, nor funds for such extensive research and the Avonworth student body did spectacularly well considering the immense sameness they all share.
