In order to begin a precise investigation on the topic of the mind, we must first separate from the traditional thinking that the brain and the mind acts as one. We will examine the correlation between the mind and brain and see how they are dissimilar. Next it will prove prudent that we define the functions of the mind. Afterwards we will discuss the problem of interaction between the physical and non-physical, that is to say the brain and the mind. During all this we will be brought closer to an adequate understanding of the When one says the term “mind” we immediately responds with the idea of the brain. It would be as if the mind and body act as one in the same. This is entirely false; the two function completely opposite of each other and have entirely different natures.
