Committed to Memory: Historical Events That Left an Indelibl
Throughout world history there have been events that caused America to cheer and events that caused America to cry and take action. Each person hearing the news about an event was affected in some way – by knowing someone involved, by having visited the place, or just by that feeling that connects each of us to the rest of the world. Christina Giacona looks back on some historical events. One of the dealings that affected Mrs. Giacona’s life was the fall of the Berlin Wall.
