The country I choose to research was Jamaica. Jamaica’s population is 2,695,867 as of (July 2003). The population is divided between urban and rural dwellers, and grows at a rate just short 1 percent each year. Jamaican’s are mostly descendants of Blacks 90.9%, East Indians 1.3%, White 0.2%, Chinese 0.2%, mixed 7.3%, others 0.1%.
