Relevance: The relevance to the subject was, indeed, clear and concise, but there is a vast difference between relevance, and usefulness. The article didn’t go off on tangents, talking about how flowers are pretty or how twinkees feel funny, so I suppose that can be considered relevant, but as far as how useful it really is, its practical application is so low that it can not be measured in real numbers.

Reaction: To be quite honest, I was unimpressed by what the article suggested. Most of the tips were just common sense, and the others, such as checking the data against other sources, were not concrete methods. Such suggestions as that are pointless on their own. If one looks hard enough, they will always find someone who has differing data. It matters little if the site that refutes the first’s information is more reputable. Time and again in history, great men, such as Aristotle, were believed because of their reputation while those with the correct assumptions, such as Democritus, are left out in the cold because they are unknown. This piece was utter tripe.
