At the end of World War One, Canada had sacrificed as well as gained. The War had come with a dreadful cost. With millions around the globe dead and much destruction, it is foolish to say it was worth the benefits. Because of WWI Canada stood up as a nation and gained international respect and recognition. But at a terrible price. Not only were huge amounts of money being spent but life, resources and harmony were being sacrificed. I believe the sacrifices outweigh all the benefits.
