More markdowns have been taken since last week. Those navy suits were 25% off last week and now they are 40% off. It seems as though none of them have sold since last time. Not only that item but also the other items on the markdown rack behind the left pillar are an extra 25% off the already reduced price. An example is the linen cream skirt for $66.98, which is now $50.24. Nothing new has been added to the markdown rack. The markdowns taken this week were off of already reduced items. This means the buyer isn’t making her six-month plan so she has to increase the markdown money. The sale items are ticketed with price endings of $.99, and new price tags have been attached.

The general appearance of the department is satisfactory. The floor could’ve used mopping up because there was a coffee spill. The only mirror located in the back right section could be cleaned because there is a lot of fingerprints on it. In all the merchandise is arranged assortmatically by color and design. This would then be considered a balanced stock.
