There are many world re-known athletes in the world. Michael Jordan is just one of the many. In my opinion, he is the best player to ever step foot on a National Basketball Association court. He is recognized all over the world for his talent, and success as an athlete and a human being. Even though he is officially retired now, his successful career has left a mark on the world of all sports fans that supported him. Many sports fans are skeptical about whether Michael Jordan is the best professional basketball player up until now or not. Yes, there are many other greats before him such as Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, Julius Erving and many others, but in my opinion, none of they’re careers compare to the success of Michael Jordan’s. In his career, Michael competed in an approximate of 1,072 games, which consisted of 41,011 minutes. He ended his illustrious career with 32,292 points, 5,633 assists, and 6,672 rebounds. Although he has departed from the sport of basketball, he has still been making an impact to the public and society as a celebrity. He continues to make sneakers and clothes of his own brands and make commercials in order to not lose his fame. I do not think he will ever lose his fame. A player as great as him can never be forgotten or replaced that simply in my opinion. I hope the other players of the NBA use Michael Jordan as an example and strive to the best of their ability to achieve his greatness.
