Born as James Paul McCartney, in Liverpool, England, June 18th, 1942. As a young boy Paul had been exposed and taught quite a bit about music. His father, James McCartney led the “Jim Mac Jazz Band” in the twenties. You could say that Paul’s talent runs in the family.

In 1980, Wings were scheduled for a tour in Japan but trouble arose at the border. McCartney was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was released after ten days in prison with no charges, and was forced to leave Japan so the tour was cancelled.

Thing began to grow worse for the Beatles when Klein hired a new producer, Phil Spector. McCartney immediatley grew angry with Spector as he began to inserting string instrumentals and and backup femal vocal into Paul’s songs. McCartney began working on his solo album “McCartney. The album was ready to be released in early 1970, but Klein proposed that the release be postponed due to the bands release of their album “Let It Be”. McCartney ignored Klein’s proposal and released his album, actually a month before “Let It Be.” On April 10, 1970, Paul McCartney stated that he would no longer be a member of the Beatles.

McCartney continued to work solo, and released his third album, “Tug of War”.

“My biggest accomplishement in life, are my four children” ( McCartney, Paul). After accomplishing what he has Paul McCartney can proudly say that his biggest accomplishment are his generations to come.

“In 1997 after releasing another solo album, McCartney was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II as Sir Paul McCartney” (Rolling Stone). Things then took a turn for the worst for Paul. In 1998, after battling with cancer, Paul’s wife passed away on April 17. After her death Paul became inactive,
