According to Cambridge dictionary the definition of corruption is "illegal, bad or dishonest behavior, especially by people in positions of power". Moroccan citizen are facing this bad behavior every day and it is a real problem for Moroccans and their government as well. Three weeks ago, I took an exam in order to get my driving license; the day after, I went to the service responsible so as to get my driving license. I found a very long queue, waiting for my turn I found that people were shaking hands with the officer and giving him money each gives what he can and get their right. My principle I cannot tolerate to donate money for what belongs to me what makes when my turn comes the officer find me every time excuses like "your file is incomplete" for me to delay and at the end asked me to come back the week after. After three weeks, I started to lose hope I am forced to do what others do but what makes me even crazier is that we are in a country during development even if there are not the basis for developing, the people do not want to develop by giving up those bad manner and public officer feel themselves in a strength position finally I gave money to the person responsible for my license easily because I had to leave the country.
Beside all this, there are many factors favoring and conducting to corruption, including the circumstances, atmosphere, and the locals where the operations happened. This operation which needs only a very few seconds can be done in different places, especially in the offices since most of them are hidden and no one can know what the corrupter is doing inside his office , furthermore , the absence of the control such as the ones by cameras is another primary factor of this phenomenon ,in addition to that , the responsibility given to a specific person gives him the opportunity to do whatever he wants for example , when the police man arrests a car , he can negotiate how much the conductor could pay , the police man is not controlled.
