The Music of Peter Brainin Peter Brainin is a saxophonist who started his career with the Hilton Ruiz Ensemble and then played with other Afro-Latin jazz artists like Mongo Santamaria, Chico O’Farrill, Bobby Sanabria, and many others. He has two recordings with drummer Steve Johns that feature many of his own compositions. Peter is a part of Lincoln Center’s Jazz in the Schools program in New York.
