Chemical Wastes
The claim in question here is as follows, “It’s paranoid and ignorant to worry about industry or agriculture contaminating the environment with their chemical wastes. After all, this stuff is just made of the same atoms that were already present in our environment.” This is a very opinionated statement, one that absolutely must be argued. Why, you ask? Simply because it is a crock of ignorant feces. Industry and agriculture are, in fact, contaminating the environment. These chemicals and dangerous atoms are in fact endangering many unknowing human beings. It is a fact that many cancers of people these days are caused by “chemicals in the home, workplace, and the general environment.” (http://niehs.nih.gov/oc/news/9thROC.htm) I find it very hard to believe that the atoms they are talking about here are found in the everyday natural environment. If that was the case,
then this world would be full of sick people, and the person would be correct in saying that it is ignorant to worry about the chemical wastes from industry or agriculture. I am sorry to burst that persons bubble, but the atoms that are found in Lysol are probably not of the same variety that you would find in a freshly planted peach-tree, or a nice bed of flowers. So, in closing, I would like to leave this argument with one final thought, and that is: if you think it is ignorant to worry about these epidemics, then you are the ignorant one. Thank you very much, and if we all work together, then maybe we can help this environment one step at a time! Agriculture is something that definitely needs to be discussed in this argument. For someone to say that you need not worry about the chemical wastes involved with today’s agriculture, actually worries me quite a bit! There i
