Flight of the Intrusive Drones

Do you ever feel like you are being watched? You can't shake the feeling that someone or something is watching your every move. Then you think that is impossible because you have been all over town today. But people don't realize that it isn't impossible that someone can follow you all day or even all week. New technology developed by the military called a UAV(unmanned aerial vehicles), or as most people know it, a drone, can spy on a person for extended amounts of time. These machines do not require a pilot to fly them around. In fact they don't even have a space for a pilot to fly in them. They are equipped with a very high power camera. They were conceived by the military to give real time information to troops fighting on the ground and give them an eye in the sky to help them find the enemy. .
But these drones have evolved from a simple eye in the sky. They have become more stealthy, have a longer range, and have been equipped with weapons. They also have become a viable option for local law enforcement and private companies. Drones have become a very powerful option for many companies with not many restrictions on use. Now these drones are coming into use in the United States with no legal restrictions. Drones need to have stricter regulations about how and when they can be used to protect the public from their powerful intrusive capabilities. .
During the beginning of operation Iraqi Freedom 24 United States apache attack helicopters simultaneously destroyed all the Iraqi early warning radar stations along the Iraq border. But the attack helicopters were 3 miles away from any of the stations.(Acheson) Ray Acheson is a reporter for the CNN news team assigned to report the war on terror. He saw the opening moments of Iraqi freedom and how the 24 apache helicopters destroyed the Iraqi radar stations. How could the apache helicopters see or accurately hit these stations? The United States military had designed and put into use a new type of weapon that didn't carry any guns just a camera and a laser.
