The Neolithic Revolution

The single site theory explains that humans originated from one places, this was in the Great Rift Valley in africa near the equator. This theory also explains how they originated in the Great Rift Valley and moved over to the big masses of water created by the glaciers after the ice age. Edwin Fenton found "Lucy" in the Great Rift Valley which made him believe that human originated from here because this was the earliest human skeletal remains they found. This theory was shortly proven wrong by William Howells. Howells disagreed with the single site theory. He believed that there were other communities of people that originated from other places than just the Great Rift Valley. He supported his thesis by proving that other communities had different ways of life and did things like farming, hunting, gathering, a different way than the community that was originated from the Great Rift Valley. Also some of the other skeletal remains that were found were just as old or even older than "Lucy". There was much more evidence than just farming, and hunting but they also had different ways of eating food and also different ways of building shelters. If these humans originated from the same location then they would most likely share the same kind of culture. This was proven to be false. Howells otherwise founded the oasis theory. This theory supported that humans came from multiple places around the world. This made more sense because humans at this era had different cultures and ways of life. These communities or populations of people were formed around the world, and all these places had different environments that the populations had to adapt to. As time passed by these communities grew to be larger and also evolutionized. The way that these communities evolutionized was that there agricultural standards started to rise and also they started to domesticate animals and such.
