The aftermath of September 11, 2001, will always echo in the ears of America. How could this happen? Why did it happen? Who would do this to us? So many questions to the one answer we will not accept. To accept that answer is to admit transgression, and we are too much a perfect nation to admit what we are doing to third countries behind the dark doors.
How could this happen? To answer that question we most look at our government and military past. The secret funding that was funnel to the rebels in Afghanistan. How the government, (CIA) looked at it, it was in the United States best interest to fund the rebels of Afghanistan to fight the Russians. To America, the World Trade Center signifies power and wealth. To third world countries, it signifies power to enslave and wealth to destroy. American does not see the death of the incidents in the news, in the newspaper or in a magazine. We do not see the homeless kids whose parents were murdered or killed by secret bombings in the middle of the night.
