Language and communication ability such as reading, writing and speech are the most important skills that humans possess. However simple they may seem, language skills most often are unnoticed as something magnificent or special. Yet language skills are on of the fundamental building blocks for the vast world of communication in which we live. The ability for humans to communicate at such a technically high level is what distinguishes and sets us apart from other forms of life. Most people are unaware that by reading the paper, talking on the phone, or even watching television that they are performing a test that is very complex. Have you ever noticed that when it comes to remembering when you first learned to speak or read, it is a time that is unremarkable or you may not even recall? Of all the different forms of communicating, listening and viewing are what I do best. I consider myself an auditory learner, and have always had an easier time picking up new information by listening to someone speak. I would rather watch the national geographic channel and view what is going on rather then read it off a page of a magazine. Communication such as television, films and radio have the greatest impact on me, and I find them most enjoyable.
Language skills are one of the most important parts of being a human that usually get passed off as something small. Communication in all different forms makes the world go around. As a human, I take pride in my language abilities.

Writing may be one of the most difficult aspects of language for me to perform. Although I have won a literary award for a specific writing, I still find
