Marijuana Issues in Colorado

Ever since Colorado Government passed the laws to bring legal marijuana to our state there has been an uprise in conflict throughout the state, because there are many people for it and there are many people who are against it. The problem is what has occurred and how marijuana has affected people in our state since the legalization has occurred and what the future outcomes look to be such as it becoming to much for people to handle and how easy it is for almost anyone to access it. This is a very complicated issue because the Colorado Government as well as the citizens of Colorado have seen how much revenue legal marijuana has brought to our state and because it is almost impossible to reverse the laws. According to Ferner, Matt "Legal Marijuana In Colorado Has Already Generated 15 Million for Schools" Huff Post 20 Feb 2015. Web. 4 March 2015, since the openings of legal dispensaries which started January 1st 2014 15.6 million dollars in taxed revenue has been generated for our public schools, which goes to the schools across Colorado and buildings which are deteriorating. Most people say there is no turning back because the rise of legal marijuana on its way which is hard to believe considering how much it already is such a big part of peoples' every day lives and a huge part of what we see on the news. Even though dispensaries are going up like blooming flowers around the state and I personally see that as a problem, we have to look at the other side of some situations and see how it may be benefiting us. .
People who don't agree with the laws or have seen it being taken out of hand are the ones who are trying to put a stop to the laws. Ever since Amendment 64 "The regulate marijuana like alcohol" law has passed people around our state have not only taken advantage of this but a lot of people have continued to do it illegally because of how easy it is to access.
